Annual function of St Patrick’s Academy situated at clement town in Dehradun was held on 8 th Nov 2024 for class 1-5 rest from class 6-12 will be held on 9 Nov 2024. The ceremony commenced with a luminous kindling ceremony symbolizing the igniting of young minds. Mr Narender kumar Yadav Chairmen ,Uttarakhand State Centre, Institute of Engineers India, was the Chief Guest. The function started with a lamp lighting ceremony, Principal brother Dennis Joseph FSP introduced the chief guest Mr Narender Kumar Yadav to the audience and choir was sung by students band. He informed that on the occasion of completion of ten year of school and 150 years of patrician brothers education journey in india, annual day function has been celebrated. Students has excelled in academic, sports and curriculum activities.
The function was attended by parents of the children also.
Everybody enjoyed the cultural evening, Among the highlights of the evening were , choir, story telling with act of “The Pied Piper of Hamelin” and Dance performance under theme “We Are One a Dance Odyssey ” depicting power of dance and music that foster global harmony and peace (includes Bhangra and Rajasthani performances and dances from middle east , norway ,japan, china,north America and Mexico).
The School Principal greeted the assembly and welcomed the chief guest Narender kumar yadav. He advised to revolutionize technical education and preparing students for the future workforce in this era of AI and machine learning. He also emphasised the safety and precautions against digital scams and fraud. Lastly principal Bro Dennis Joseph delivered a heartfelt speech expressing gratitude to all those who made the event possible. At the closing Ceremony the National Anthem echoed through the school premises.
