U’Khand CM Dhami marks three years in office, highlighted landmark achievements at parade ground in Dehradun


Dehradun, On the occasion of completion of three years of service, good governance and development of the present government, many programs were organized today in all the districts and block levels of Uttarakhand. People were benefited from various public welfare schemes of the government through health camps and camps. Ministers in charge and other public representatives also participated in the district level programs as chief guests.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, while addressing the main grand program organized at Parade Ground in Dehradun today, made three important announcements for students, youth, Upanal and contract workers. The Chief Minister said, the government will constitute a high-level committee to provide financial assistance by the state government to the students preparing for competitive examinations and youth with graduate degree and to make arrangements for training to develop their employment skills through a dedicated platform. He announced to prepare a concrete policy soon for the regular appointment of Upanal and contract workers and in addition, to give government work up to ten crore rupees to the local contractors of the state.
In his address, the Chief Minister first paid tribute to the immortal martyrs of Uttarakhand and Sardar Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev on Martyr’s Day. He said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttarakhand has achieved success while facing various challenges. Despite various challenges, in these three years our state has achieved many remarkable achievements and set new records, whose echo is being heard in the whole country today.
The Chief Minister, while vaguely pointing towards the indecent remarks made by some politicians in the House during the budget session, said that due to some people who are not careful in speaking, sometimes talks of regionalism or casteism are heard in the state. He said that if any person from Uttarakhand talks about narrow regionalism or casteism, then he not only does injustice to those agitators who sacrificed everything for the creation of this state but he also works against his motherland.
The Chief Minister said that while our government has worked towards strengthening the infrastructure of all major sectors including education, health, roads, sports, drinking water and air connectivity for the last three years, it has also prepared a detailed roadmap for the all-round development of Uttarakhand by making more than 30 new policies related to various sectors in the state and has implemented many new schemes. As a result, the progress of Uttarakhand is clearly visible in every field. He especially mentioned 30 percent horizontal reservation for women of the state, 10 percent horizontal reservation to state agitators, old age pension facility, restarting sports quota in government jobs, providing scholarships to students, free facilities for 207 types of pathological tests.
He said that the state of Uttarakhand has implemented the Uniform Civil Code for the first time. The Chief Minister was overjoyed by the presence of Muslim women in this program. The holy Ganga of Uniform Civil Code flowing from Devbhoomi has infused new energy and enthusiasm in the entire country. Positive results are coming out from the anti-copying law. He also discussed anti-riot and anti-conversion laws. He said that this holy land of Devbhoomi can be saved from land mafias through land law. We have fulfilled the promises made to the public. So far, we have been successful in implementing more than 70 percent of the promises of our vision document issued in 2022. Other promises will also be fulfilled soon.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister released the development booklet ‘3 years of service, good governance and development’ of the Information and Public Relations Department. It includes the decisions, schemes and achievements taken by the government in public interest in 03 years. The digital release of the ‘Devbhoomi Rajat Utsav-Sankalp se Siddhi’ calendar and the digital launch of the Content Creator Competition were also done by the Chief Minister.
During the program, 13 children connected to the mainstream of education admitted in the Intensive Care Center Sadhuram Inter College Dehradun were honored under the Child Begging Prevention Efforts. A total amount of ₹10 crore was distributed as ex-gratia grant to the land owners of the land acquired under the Lakhwar Multipurpose Project. The Chief Minister handed over cheques and keys to the beneficiaries under the Atal Awas Yojana. The beneficiaries were benefited from various public welfare schemes of the state government and certificates were also given to those who did commendable work.
On this occasion, Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal, MLA Shakhjan Das, Umesh Sharma Kau, Vinod Chamoli, Munna Singh Chauhan, Mrs. Savita Kapoor, Mayor Dehradun Saurabh Thapliyal, BJP Metropolitan Dehradun President Siddharth Agarwal, Chief Secretary Mrs. Radha Raturi, DGP Deepam Seth, public representatives, senior officers of the government and police, District Magistrate Dehradun Savin Bansal, Director General of Information Banshidhar Tiwari, SSP Dehradun Ajay Singh and a large number of people were present.
